Jacob was born and raised in the Inland Empire. He played locally for Colton America, then SWSC, and finally ended at Arsenal FC based out of Ontario. After his club career he played at UC Riverside and after that in Germany for FCA Darmstadt, and then ended his playing career in Seattle with Kitsap Pumas in 2018. He has coached for the last 2 years at GTHS, as a volunteer assistant at UCR, and then with Arsenal FC. He is very passionate about youth development and hopes to push players on and off the field that way they can carry different life lessons while excelling as players and as individuals. Jacob holds his F and E coaching licenses.
Born in Arcadia, CA, Francesca has 5 years coaching experience; Kaiser High School Varsity girls (2 years), Kaiser High JV boys (1 year), and currently head coach for Notre Dame Varsity Boys. Played club soccer for Claremont stars and Arsenal. Attended and played at San Bernardino Valley college, Nyack, and Whittier College. Currently a sports management major at SNHU. She enjoys being around soccer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week is a blessing. She hopes to pass along her passion for the game to players and teach them about life in the process.
Kevin started his youth career playing club soccer with Riverside United before continuing on to Pateadores Soccer Club. He went on to play at the college level with Cal State San Bernardino and captained the California Baptist University Men’s Soccer program for two seasons. He graduated cum laude honors with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. After college he expanded his coaching experience with the Cal Poly Pomona Women’s Soccer program and the Cal State San Bernardino Men’s Soccer program for a total of four years. He has also worked with Matrix Soccer Club as a girls head coach and a boys head coach and director with Pateadores Soccer Club for the past 12 years. He is in his seventh year of teaching as a Special Education American Government and Economics Teacher at Arlington High School. He also serves as head coach the Arlington High School Boys Varsity Soccer program. He resides in Riverside with his wife, Mallory, and two kids- Benjamin (5-years old) and Avery (3-years old).
Tony has 5 years of high school soccer coaching experience at Riverside Poly with 3 league titles in high school and club combined. He currently plays in the NPSL for Riverside Coras. Tony is also a 2018 Hope International University commit for the men’s soccer team. Tony believes in not only teaching his players soccer, but also about life.
Experience: Milan U18-19 premier for club, 1 college season at San Bernardino Valley, 2018 Hope International University men’s soccer commit, 2 seasons of NPSL soccer for Riverside Coras. Coaching experience: 5 years at Riverside Poly HS, 1 year coaching club soccer and 1 club league title.
Heber has 3 years of coaching club soccer experience but has been volunteering as coach on and off for the last 10 years. He grew up playing soccer in the Los Angeles area. 18 years of playing soccer, reaching Super Mayor division in one of the first soccer leagues in southern California, Liga California. Heber is dedicated in creating a fun professional learning environment for all players.
James is a native of England and attended Edge Hill University, Lancashire, where he graduated with an BSc. Honors Degree in Exercise Physiology. During his time playing & coaching with his University James attained his UEFA B Coaching License. James moved to the US in 2002, situated in Northern Virginia, where he coached several youth teams over a 5 year period and also attained his USSF C LIcense. Upon relocating to CA in 2007 James continued his youth coaching with DUSC, Arsenal, Los Gauchos & Pateadores. During this span James also continued his Coach Education attaining his USSF B & A Licenses. James currently resides in Redlands with Megan and their two children, Wyatt 10 & Emma 6. Away from the soccer field James enjoys time with the family, swimming, cycling, running, mountain biking, trail running & camping.
Jesus Perez has 2 years of coaching experience with high school soccer. He is currently varsity assistant at Riverside Poly. Jesus believes in teaching his players in a competitive/fun learning environment to help them reach their potential. He is very passionate about soccer and hopes to have his players reach their goals, on and off the field.
Mario is an ex-professional reserves player for Atlante and PUMAS; both Mexican based professional teams, Mario has gone on to work with various teams, clubs, high schools, and colleges. His experiences range with all ages of youth from little kickers ages 3-5 to Men’s semiprofessional teams ages 18 and up. Mario’s dedication to his teams has allowed for several championship wins and many teams ranking up in their Coast Soccer League ranking. Even with the many accomplishments that he has helped to achieve, his core belief is in the overall growth of a player both on and off the field. He believes that players should also focus on the academic aspect of their lives, and motivated players to reach and accomplish long term career goals by setting a standard of integrity, commitment, and reliability in school and on the field.
Born in Belfast, Ireland, moved to the USA in 2014. Played for Wayland University Winning 3 SAC conferences, 2 SAC tournaments and an NAIA National Tournament(2017). Early career includes spells at Leeds United Academy and Linfield. 3 appearances at the national level for Northern Ireland under 19s. Coached 1 year as assistant coach at Wayland winning an additional SAC conference as part of the coaching staff (2018).

Spencer was born in Yorba Linda, CA. Grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado. Played for Colorado Mesa University (NCAA D2) winning a conference championship Freshman year and reaching the NCAA Division 2 Final Four Sophomore year. Also, played for Real Foxes in the Premier Development League (PDL) during Freshman and Sophomore summers. Transferred to University of Nevada, Las Vegas (NCAA D1) winning a conference championship Junior year. Unfortunately, getting knocked out in the WAC conference semifinals his Senior year. Graduated Winter 2017 with a Bachelors of Science, Kinesiological Sciences.
Alex has 13 years of coaching experience at the high school level with various schools and is currently the director of coaching at Costa Mesa High. Additionally, he has over 4 years of club coaching experience with other clubs. As a youth, Alex played club and high school soccer from 1983 to 1993 before continuing on to Irvine Valley College and Concordia University to play and study. Alex holds a Bachelors in exercise sport science and a Masters in Cross Cultural Education. He has his USSF ‘D’ coaching license. He lives in Corona with his wife Jennifer and two kids, Alexis and Austin. When Alex can step away from coaching, he enjoys playing beach volleyball in Newport on the weekends or traveling to Costa Rica to visit family.
Bryan brings 4 years of coaching experience for club and 2 years for High school. He is currently the assistant varsity coach for Poly High School. He is currently attending college, working on finishing a major in Spanish. Bryan has played 3 years varsity soccer, 6 years for club at a high level and 1 year at Chaffey Community College.
Luis Garcia has 4 years of coaching experience with youth players. with two years coaching at poly high school. Luis has played soccer since the age of 9 for multiple club teams And one year in Mexico with the Tijuana U17 team.
As a player, Michaelson played semiprofessional soccer in the United Kingdom with Warrington Town AFC and Marine AFC, along with Deportivo Las Rozas in Spain. He was also a two-time All-American at the College of Idaho, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and education in 2002 and with a masters in teaching in 2003.
In addition to his duties at NNU, Michaelson served as the Technical Director at the Boise Nationals Soccer Club since 2006 and as an age group assistant coach in the Region IV Olympic Development Program since 2012.
Michaelson holds a USSF A License, a NSCAA Premier “With Distinction” License, and US Youth Soccer National Youth License.
Michaelson and his wife Stephanie have two sons, Luke and Isaac. He Also serves as Head Coach for Cal Baptist University.
Carlos has been coaching youth groups for 6 years as a volunteer and parent. With 6 kids of his own who play he has also played AYSO as a child, with 2 years experience with the Tecos youth academy in Zapopan Jalisco Mexico. He was coached by ex Club Leon professional players during his teen years. He loves this game as it remains his passion as an adult.
Edson joins RCFC with over 15 years of coaching experience in the youth program and high school level. He brings a unique perspective on player development with special expertise in growing younger teams. He currently holds an E coaching license.
Norberto began playing college soccer at Mt. San Antonio College in 2011 and 2012. Following two years in San Antonio, Ochoa spent time in Europe with both SC Rheindorf Altach and Club Brugge. Nor also spent one year as a senior at UC Riverside as a player and student before graduating. Nor also played with United Soccer League side Charlotte Independence in 2016. He is passionate about the game and eager to help RCFC youth grow in the sport.

Born in Riverside, CA. Played for FC Golden State Academy as a goalkeeper participating in Dallas Cup as a 3-time Finalist and summer training with 2nd Division Tigres in Mexico. Currently, “Juicy” attends and plays for the nationally ranked Mt. Sac Mens Soccer program where he intends on transferring to a 4-year university. Juicy was nominated All-Inland Valley League, Inland Valley League Defensive MVP, and All-CIF for his Senior year at Arlington High School. He helped the class of 2018 break multiple records for the Arlington High School soccer program and finished his career with a birth in the CIF-State Regional tournament. Juicy is currently a GK coach for the Arlington High School Varsity program and looks forward to sharing his passion, faith, and love for the game with his Goalkeepers. Influenced from his Father and experience from professional training in Mexico, Juicy hopes to inspire his goalkeepers and provide a platform for his players to feel comfortable with their hands, feet, and voice on and off the field.
Annoar brings 11 years of training/coaching youth boys and girls in the Inland Empire. He has experience training/coaching in recreational, club/travel, high school and college. He played one season for Norco Community College. He holds two U.S.S.F licenses as well as other certifications. Annoar is passionate about learning his craft and developing every player he has the opportunity to teach.
David grew up in Redlands, CA and competed on various clubs all throughout Southern California. He spent the majority of his youth Career playing for Titans FC and Arsenal FC both based in the Inland Empire. David Graduated from East Central University (Ada, OK) with a degree in education in 2017. From 2017-2019, David taught and was the Girls Varsity coach at Ardmore HS (OK). As David has transitions back to Southern California, he is now employed at Redlands Unified School district for his 3rd year as a math teacher. David now lives in Redlands with his wife Kathlene.
